After spending the last 15 years in NSW, Dr Jess Chapman has made her way back home to QLD with her young family. She completed her medical degree in Sydney before heading to Tamworth and Gunnedah to complete her General Practice training. Having spent her life as a GP in country NSW, she has enjoyed treating all aspects of the life cycle and enjoyed being a family GP to each generation. She has a diploma in Child Health through University of Sydney, particularly enjoys chronic disease management and was a part of the Tamworth Palliative Care team. Jess has experience in skin checks and skin cancer removal. Dr Jess also consults at Growlife Sherwood.

Dr Anjni Mistri has a passion for providing high quality patient centred care. She enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in preventive health, paediatrics and womens health. She has also completed further courses in sexual heath and child health, and is aligned with Mater Mothers Hospital to provide GP shared antenatal care. Originally from South Africa, she has completed her education and medical training throughout Brisbane. Dr Mistri also consults at Growlife Sherwood.

Dr Jill Howard is a caring and holistic GP who loves Family Medicine. Jill is aligned with the Mater Mother's Hospital for providing pregnancy shared care, and has a wealth of experience with care for young children. She also provides skin cancer checks and minor procedures, as well as thoughtful Geriatric Care. Dr Jill also consults at our Oxley clinic.

Dr Emma Scriven completed her medical degree at Monash University in Melbourne before returning home to Queensland to practice. She is enthusiastic about all aspects of general practice and previously enjoyed working in rural and regional areas. Dr Scriven has special interests in children’s health and women’s health. She is trained in Implanon insertion and aligned with Mater Mothers Hospital to provided shared antenatal care. As a mother of 3 young children, Dr Scriven knows the value of a trusted, caring GP and is keen to provide this for her patients. She enjoys caring for patients through their lifetime and families across generations.

Sam is a kind and caring Midwife and Lactation Consultant with a passion for providing holistic, inclusive, individualised and evidence-based midwifery, infant feeding and lactation support. She aims to build her patients knowledge and skills, so they feel more confident, intuitive and empowered throughout their feeding journey. Sam qualified as a Midwife in England in 1997 and has experience in all areas of midwifery and lactation in both the hospital and community setting in England and Queensland. She became qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2012 and received her endorsement as a Midwife in 2021 which enables Sam to prescribe appropriate scheduled medicines and request appropriate pathology within her midwifery scope and provide Medicare rebates during their pregnancy and up to 6 weeks postnatally. 

Sam also sees patients for in-clinic appointments at Growlife Medical Fairfield, home visits within 15km of Sinnamon Park and Fairfield clinics, and also offers telehealth consultations.

Speech Pathologist

Dr Naomi Hartley is a certified practicing speech pathologist consulting in speech, language, voice, literacy, and swallowing for adults and children. Since obtaining her initial qualifications in Speech Pathology from The University of Queensland (2000), Naomi has combined clinical practice with research and university teaching in Australia and The United States of America. She values an evidence-based approach to management, aiming to be a trusted source of information for communication and swallowing function for individuals and the community. Particular areas of clinical interest include leveraging neuroplasticity for those living with neurological changes, and helping clients reap the rewards of improved communication skills in educational, social, and personal roles.

After many years experience as a Paediatric Nurse overseas and at the Mater Children's Hospital in Brisbane, Alison obtained further qualifications as a Midwife, as well as having three children of her own. She has a breadth of experience in antenatal , postnatal and infant care both in the hospital, community and home visit setting. With her gentle and caring manner, Alison is able to provide practical advice during pregnancy and to new parents. Alison established the weekly parents group and runs a bulk-billed midwife clinic for pregnant mums and infants on Tuesday and Wednesday at Sherwood and is available for bookings on Fridays at Highgate Hill . She is also available other days/times by appointment. Home visits available for known patients. Please call to book in.
