Dr Jeanette Kennelly is a music therapist, academic, and professional supervisor who has worked and published across a range of paediatric clinical areas. She has a strong belief in the transformative medium of music as a way of creating meaningful connections between parent and child. She is the Founder and Research/Evaluation Manager of the
SongLife Connections program.
Jeanette is the Clinical Leader in Music Therapy at the
Queensland Children’s Hospital . She was the inaugural senior music therapist at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Brisbane between 1995 and 2009 and was an academic lecturer/tutor in music therapy at the University of Queensland between 2003 and 2015. Her private practice
