Lauren joins the Growlife Medical team in a new role as a general practice pharmacist. She is a graduate of the University of Queensland and an accredited consultant pharmacist. Passionate about optimising chronic disease management for her patients, she believes in empowerment through education. Lauren performs Home Medicines Reviews for timely medication advice and chronic disease management.
A graduate of the University of Queensland, Lauren has many years’ experience within Queensland Health hospital pharmacy roles, including the Poisons Information Centre. Some patients may recognise Lauren from her work providing Home Medicines Reviews in the local community, where she is passionate about optimising chronic disease management for her patients.
Lauren believes in empowerment through education for both patients and health professionals. She has experience in Education and Training roles and has taught evidence-based medicine to pharmacy, nursing and paramedic students at both the University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys numerous creative pursuits, and will sew obsessively when allowed by her 2 children.
