Mary has combined clinical practice with university teaching over many years and has been influential in the development of the physiotherapy profession in the field of neurological rehabilitation, including leading the establishment of the well-regarded national neurological physiotherapy curriculum at Australian Catholic University.
Mary’s particular areas of clinical interest are assessment of balance and falls risk in older adults and rehabilitation for people living with neurological conditions including Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Functional Neurological Disorder.
In her free time Mary enjoys dancing, spending time in nature, growing food and relaxing with her family and friends.
