Dr Rebecca Coote is a warm and friendly GP and Mum of 4 young children. She is passionate about supporting families, particularly in the early years of welcoming new babies into their lives.

Dr Rebecca graduated from medical school at the University of Queensland in 2008 and completed her residency at the Mater Hospital. She has over 12 years experience of working as a GP in a busy family practice in Ipswich. She also recently gained further experience working for a year in a specialised baby and toddler clinic, offering breastfeeding and sleep consultations.

Dr Rebecca is currently working towards gaining her Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) qualification. Dr Rebecca understands how confusing and conflicting the advice that new parents receive can be. She offers specialised appointments for breastfeeding, infant and toddler sleep and unsettled baby assessments, and loves helping parents feel equipped to make informed decisions for their families. In her spare time, Dr Rebecca loves reading, gardening and getting messy exploring nature with her children.
