Dr Leila McFerran is a long-time GP in Oxley and the Gailes area. Dr Leila McFerran joined our Sherwood team of family doctors in September 2018. She is committed to providing quality General Practice care to multiple generations of the families she cares for, and is an example of how continuity of GP can be so beneficial for the health of individuals and their families. Leila enjoys providing holistic care for her patients, and she has particular skills in managing patients with multiple, complex conditions including diabetes, heart disease, chronic lung disease and thyroid disorders. She enjoys the challenge of minor procedures, including skin excisions and wound repairs. Leila McFerran is a General Practitioner with many years experience.

Leila has acquired both her Fellowship in General Practice and Diploma in Obstetrics.
Dr McFerran is enthusiastic and professional, caring for the individual and families.
She is interested to care for her patients from infancy to the aged; both with acute and chronic illness.
Dr McFerran will also undertake immunisations, disease management planning, and pregnancy planning and share care. Leila also has an interest minor skin lesions, minor injuries and simple fractures within the scope of general practice care of her patients.
