Dr Kate Pink

Dr Kate Pink graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 and has worked across multiple specialities in South East Queensland prior to entering General Practice in 2015. Kate strives to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of her patients across all stages of life..

Her special interests include children's health, women's health and preventative medicine. Kate’s scope of practice incorporates contraceptive services, offering Hormonal IUD's, along with providing shared antenatal care through the Mater Mother’s hospital. Kate also provides specialised consults in infant and toddler sleep, and general practice care for growing children who were born premature.

Kate is committed to medical education, holding a UQ Senior Lecturer academic title, QA examiner and ECT supervisor roles for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and involved in medical student placements. Kate is also completing a Graduate Diploma of Child Health through Western Sydney University.

Outside of work Kate enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and 2 young children. She has a particular passion for the snow, having previously worked as a Ski Instructor overseas. She is always eager to hear where your next adventure is taking you.

Dr Pink entered General Practice in 2015, and since then has managed to achieve both her RACGP Fellowship training and bringing two children into the world! Her special interests include Children's Health, Women's Health and Preventative Medicine. Kate is trained in IUD and hormonal implant insertion and removal.

She has a particular interest in infant sleep, and general practice care for growing children who were born premature. Many families seek out her care and understanding of these issues.

Kate has a passion for snow skiing, having previously been a Ski Instructor overseas, and enjoys spending her spare time outdoors with her husband, son and daughter. Kate has a friendly manner that quickly puts children (and adults!) at ease, which means you can focus on addressing your health concerns in a relaxed and comfortable fashion.
