Dr Douglas Brown graduated from Bond University in 2017 on a Defence University Sponsorship. Doug completed his residency years at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Queensland Children’s Hospital, and is now a full time Medical Officer with the Royal Australian Air Force and a General Practitioner. He has particular interest in aviation medicine, men’s health, mental health and chronic medicine. He consults at our Sherwood and Highgate Hill clinics.

Dr Chambers has worked in General Practice since 2006. He is passionate about family practice, including paediatrics and obstetric care. After completing his medical degree with honours at the University of Queensland, Dr Chambers served as an RAAF Doctor, conducting humanitarian missions and evacuating wounded servicemen from the Middle East. He consults at our Oxley , Sherwood and Highgate Hill clinics.

Dr Rebecca graduated from medical school at the University of Queensland in 2008 and completed her residency at the Mater Hospital. She has over 12 years experience of working as a GP in a busy family practice in Ipswich. She also recently gained further experience working for a year in a specialised baby and toddler clinic, offering breastfeeding and sleep consultations. Dr Rebecca is currently working towards gaining her Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) qualification. She consults at Sherwood clinic.

Dr Nathan Day graduated from James Cook University in 2017. Nathan initially worked at Ipswich Hospital, where he went on to undertake additional training in Emergency Medicine before moving to General Practice.

Nathan most recently practised in Dalby and Toowoomba where he completed his training as a Rural Generalist. Nathan now works full time in General Practice, and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He enjoys spending time with his young family and travelling and exploring Queensland. He consults at our Highgate and Sherwood clinics.

Dr Philip Duffy is currently completing his specialty training in rural and remote medicine and has previously worked in a number of rural areas in QLD, most recently in Goondiwindi. He has also completed a certificate in emergency medicine. Outside of work he likes to get out into nature and enjoy hiking, as well as kite surfing. Philip is an ADF member and works for the army 3 days/week. He consults at our Highgate Hill clinic the other 2 days.

Dr Emma Fist enjoys all areas of general practice and has a particular interest in women’s health, including antenatal shared care and contraception. Emma is trained in the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants and hormone-releasing intrauterine devices (IUD). Emma also enjoys paediatric health and has completed a Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney.  She consults at our Highgate Hill and Oxley clinics.

Dr Anna Fleming is a mum, a wife, a doctor, a coffee snob and the proud owner of a kelpie called Pearl who loves to chase balls, but won't bring them back. Dr Fleming believes that General Practice should be called family medicine. She knows that every patient whatever their age or stage, has a story and context to bring that may influence health decisions. Before graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2013 with honours in Medicine, Dr Fleming was an experienced physiotherapist and Pilates instructor, she also has a particular interest in sports injuries and bone/joint issues. Dr Elizabeth Hay has over 18 years of experience as a GP, working in both urban and rural practices. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2003. ​In addition to the full scope of general practice, Elizabeth has a special interest in Antenatal care and Paediatrics, Skin cancer surgery, Women’s health, Sports Medicine, Family Medicine, and ​Migraines and Headaches. She consults at our Sherwood clinic.

Dr Jane Herbert graduated from Griffith University in 2011 and has worked in General Practice since 2014. She is a warm and caring GP who enjoys all aspects of general practice and has worked in a variety of settings across Australia prior to joining the Growlife team in 2020.  Jane has broad general practice experience with additional qualifications in women's and children's health, sexual health, travel medicine and mental health. She is trained in contraceptive implant and IUD insertion , performs iron infusions and provides shared antenatal care through the Mater Mother’s Hospital. Jane is passionate about providing evidence-based care and support to mothers and babies and offers specialised consults for families experiencing infant sleep and feeding challenges. She consults at our Highgate Hill clinic.

Dr Jill Howard is a caring and holistic GP who loves Family Medicine. She is aligned with the Mater Mother's Hospital for providing pregnancy shared care, and has a wealth of experience with care for young children. She also provides skin cancer checks and minor procedures, as well as thoughtful Geriatric Care. She consults at our Oxley and Sherwood clinics.

Dr Robert Kelly has commenced training in General Practice in 2016 after completing his degree at the University of WA.  He has spent time working in WA, the NT and now Queensland and is currently working at Sherwood as well as within the Air Force.  Rob is also an accredited DAME for Aviation Medicals . Having had a previous career as aircrew in the RAAF, Robert brings a unique understanding to aviation medicine. He consults at our Sherwood clinic.

Dr Usman graduated with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2007. He was a Registrar at Western Health in Melbourne, Victoria from 2008 to 2011. He has been working in General Practice since August 2011. Dr. Usman has also obtained an Advanced Diploma in Dermoscopy and an Advanced Diploma in Skin Cancer Surgery. He provides skin checks, skin procedures, excisions, surgeries, wound care & ongoing treatment. He consults at our Oxley clinic.

Dr Ivan Lim enjoys the continuity of providing care in all aspects of general practice and has looked after generations in the same family. He has extensive experience in child and adolescent health, preventive health, chronic disease and antenatal care. He graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin , Ireland in 2006 and has worked as a GP since 2011. He is also an RACGP examiner and is passionate about medical education. He holds an academic appointment at the University of Queensland and is a medical educator for GP training Queensland . He consults at our Sherwood clinic.

Dr Leila McFerran is committed to providing quality General Practice care to multiple generations of the families she cares for. Leila provides total care for her patients, and she has particular skills in managing patients with multiple, complex conditions including diabetes, heart disease and chronic lung disease. Dr Anjni Mistri has a passion for providing high quality patient centred care. Anjni enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in preventive health, paediatrics and womens health. She has also completed further courses in sexual heath and child health, and is aligned with Mater Mothers Hospital to provide GP shared antenatal care. She consults at our Sherwood Medical Centre .

Dr Sonja Morgan is a thoughtful general practitioner who enjoys all areas of general practice. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Queensland in 2003 and her general practice qualification in 2009. Her passion lies with maternal and child health care. She is a qualified GP Lactation Consultant, and runs the shared medical appointments at Highgate Hill .

Dr Kathryn Phillips graduated from University of Queensland School of Medicine in 2012. Before commencing general practice training she spent several years working in hospitals as a paediatric registrar and an emergency medicine registrar as well as spending some time at the Mater Mother in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.  Special interests include child and adolescent health and wellbeing, skin cancer medicine, adult health and wellbeing (preventative and mental health). She consults at our Sherwood practice.

Dr Kate Pink graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 and has worked across a number of specialties at hospitals across Australia. Kate entered General Practice in 2015. Her special interests include Children's Health, Infant Sleep, Women's Health and Preventative Medicine. She has a passion for snow skiing, having previously been a Ski Instructor overseas, and enjoys spending her spare time outdoors with her husband and young son. She consults at Highgate Hill

Dr Nargis Reza graduated from the University of Queensland in 2016 and has worked in several hospitals across Brisbane. Her special interests include chronic disease management, preventative health and antenatal care. She consults at our Sherwood clinic.

Dr Emma Scriven completed her medical degree at Monash University in Melbourne before returning home to Queensland to practice. She is enthusiastic about all aspects of general practice and has a broad range of experience in rural and metropolitan settings, with special interests in women's and children's health.

As a mother of 3 young children, Dr Scriven knows the value of a trusted, caring GP and is keen to provide this for her patients. She consults at our Oxley clinic.

Dr Anthony (Tony) Turner is a Queensland trained medical practitioner with over 30 years’ experience in general practice. Tony enjoys all aspects of family general practice and has a special interest in sports and musculoskeletal medicine, aerospace medicine, men's health, adult medicine and minor skin surgery.  Tony has a Masters in Sports Medicine from UNSW and is also a qualified CASA DAME. He consults at our Oxley clinic.

Dr Lock Tung Lee up on the Gold Coast, Tung completed both a medical degree and a Bachelor of Science at the University of Queensland. She has spent four years working in Queensland Health across a wide range of specialties but spent a dedicated year as an Obstetrics and Gynaecology doctor at Redcliffe Hospital before making the change to General Practice. She loves establishing long-term therapeutic relationships with her patients and believes this is the best way to deliver holistic care to optimise her patient’s health. She is trained in IUD insertions and removals and is passionate about chronic disease management, minor procedures and getting to know patients at all stages of life. Dr Daniel Varma graduated from Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery having previously completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Griffith University Gold Coast. In 2022 Daniel completed his fellowship in General Practice. Daniel’s main interest in General Practice is managing patients with Musculoskeletal and Internal medicine problems. He consults at our Highgate Hill and Oxley clinics.

Dr Sindhu Vasudevan previously worked at Canossa Hospital & Aged Care after moving from Tasmania with her husband and young children. She is much loved by the Canossa community. Dr Sindhu has a very thorough and caring approach to General Practice, and her diploma of child health and own experiences of bringing up children give her an ability to manage a wide range of paediatric presentations.
