Dr Kathryn Phillips

Kathryn graduated from University of Queensland School of Medicine in 2012. Before commencing general practice training she spent several years working in hospitals as a paediatric registrar and an emergency medicine registrar as well as spending some time at the Mater Mother in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Prior to starting medicine Kathryn worked for Education Queensland. Initially as a secondary teacher and then in behaviour management as a guidance officer.

Special interests include child and adolescent health and wellbeing, skin cancer medicine, adult health and wellbeing (preventative and mental health).

Outside of work she is kept busy with 2 children and a new puppy. She enjoys spending time with family and friends over good coffee and food, camping and hiking.
