After many years experience as a Paediatric Nurse overseas and at the Mater Children's Hospital in Brisbane, Alison obtained further qualifications as a Midwife (2007), as well as having three children of her own. Alison is now an Endorsed Midwife and has a breadth of experience in antenatal, postnatal and infant care both in the hospital, community and home visit setting.
With her gentle and caring manner, Alison is able to provide practical advice during pregnancy and to new parents. Alison established the weekly parents group and runs a bulk-billed midwife clinic for pregnant mums and newborn infants (up to 6weeks) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Sherwood and Mondays at Highgate Hill. As an experienced paediatric and child health nurse, Alison also offers appointments for children over 6 weeks for $40.

- Sleep concerns
- Elimination communication or ‘toilet training’
Alison is available outside her regular appointment times by prior arrangement and offers home visits for known patients.
